Our Staff

Who we are makes us what we are.

Everyone on our TTG team is credentialed, finger-printed using Livescan, trained in Pediatric First Aid/CPR, knowledgeable in early childhood development, professional, meticulously trained, warm and engaging, mature and responsible, and a valued and respected member of our school community.

My educational background is in Early Childhood Education and Child Development, with a specialization in working with children with special needs. I have been a California Early Childhood Mentor, supporting and guiding college students in the field as well as preschool teachers at programs across LA, and have also had the joy and privile

My educational background is in Early Childhood Education and Child Development, with a specialization in working with children with special needs. I have been a California Early Childhood Mentor, supporting and guiding college students in the field as well as preschool teachers at programs across LA, and have also had the joy and privilege to lead workshops and be a guest lecturer/presenter at early childhood conferences. My teaching experience began at The Growing Place, where I was a teacher for 10 years, and then continued at Cassidy Preschool as a Lead Teacher in the youngest classroom (2.5- to 3-year-olds.) I am also a very proud mama to my daughter Olivia who was born in 2018. It has been an absolute joy being part of creating something special and meaningful for the 2-year-olds in our community and working with the rest of The Toddler Garden team since we opened our doors in 2020. I look forward to meeting you and showing you our school!

GROWN-UPS:


For maximum convenience and flexibility, you are welcome to drop off between 8:30 and 9:00 am, and/or enroll in extended day when and as needed.


A healthy snack is served mid-morning and again mid-afternoon for extended day friends. Filtered water is available at all times.


We are set-up and ready to change diapers throughout your child's day with us. If and when your child shows signs of toilet learning readiness, we partner with you to help usher in this developmental milestone.


When staying for extended day, we eat lunch together to learn important self-help and independence skills, as well as enjoy the ritual of setting and clearing the table and the social aspect of sharing a meal with friends.


Our back cottage (the "Sky Room") is the perfect, peaceful napping spot for when It is time to rest our bodies after a morning of learning and playing.


The children's safety is of paramount importance. Our property is secure and enclosed on all sides. Visitors are always met by staff at the locked front gate. All Covid-19 precautions are being taken and are based on CDC and LA County Department of Public health guidelines.

We are exclusively a two's community, so more of a one year pre-preschool experience. Our program is designed to serve toddlers and children who do not meet preschool age cut-offs but are ready for a drop-off program.

Our program was designed specifically for the two year-old child who turns two between May and October and is a little too young for preschool but ready for a nurturing and age appropriate drop-off group experience. Children can join TTG on a rolling basis throughout the year, once they turn two.

Absolutely not as that would be wildly inappropriate for this young age. We will be set up to change diapers as needed. Teachers will work with you once your child shows signs of toilet learning readiness.

Tours are held monthly, on Saturday mornings. Due to COVID-19 we keep groups small, socially distanced and mainly outdoors. Complete interest form below to receive tour sign-up link.
